Founded in 1901, Sangorski & Sutcliffe is perhaps the most famous bindery in the world.
Inside this website you will find information on the  History of the Company, the Tradition of Fine Binding,  Having a Book Bound and related services
such as ConservationSelf-publishingBox-makingDesign Services, and  most importantly, a Catalogue of our recent bindings.

Established in 1988, the Shepherds began as a fine bindery but merged with the Sangorski & Sutcliffe bindery when it took it over in 1998.
The business now concentrates on making fine stationery items which are sold from its shop in Victoria, London
and through other specialist retailers.

Shepherds premises in Rochester Row, London also houses are Conservation Department.

Founded in 1973, the shop in Holborn, London is well known for having the biggest selection of fine and decorative papers in the country. 
The shop also sells a wide range of bookbinding materials; cloth, leather, glue, binding equipment and of course lots of paper.
