Alison, formerly an English teacher, trained as a bookbinder at the London College of Printing in the 1990s.  She started working part-time at Shepherds while she was still at college, and after qualifying with a diploma began working as a forwarder in the workshop.  She has now been with the company for 12 years  and  runs the Sangorski & Sutcliffe bindery at Great Guildford St.  Alison is a Director of the company.
