ARCHIVAL POLYESTER SLEEVES

What is Archival Polyester?

Archival Polyester is an in inert clear film that is widely used in museums and conservation departments for the protection of manuscripts, prints and drawings, maps, posters and works of art on paper.

Unlike normal plastics, polyester is chemically inert and combines strength with crystal clear clarity.  It can be welded into sleeves, as used in the Solander box on the right, and enables Items to be safely handled and clearly visible.

Standard sleeves hold up to A4 (210x297mm).  We also supply sleeves with multiple pockets.
