A series of songs with music by Myles B. Foster who was the organist at the Foundling Hospital, and engravings by Edmund Evans.  The charming songs range from ‘Waking’ through ‘Playtime’ and ‘Tired’ to ‘Sleeping’.

A charming selection of poems by Jane and Ann Taylor, with titles such as ‘James and the Shoulder of Mutton’, ‘Meddlesome Matty’ and ‘ The Chatterbox’. 

Beautifully illustrated with 39 of Greenaway’s colour illustrations.

 

 

Bound in pea green morocco over a bright yellow morocco spine, with flowered green endpapers and gilt edges.  The simple yet effective onlay design is of bright yellow daisies with orange centres.  The book is held in a green slipcase with a yellow morocco spine with lettering running down.Bound in tan morocco goatskin with a gold vignette to the front and back boards containing two delicate leather onlays.

 

The endpapers are made from Japanese Chiyogami paper and the book is housed in a leather entry slipcase.
